Balakrishna Bhagwant Borkar (30 November 1910 – 8 July 1984) was a poet from Goa, India.Bā Bha Borkar, also known as Ba-ki-baab, started writing poems at an early age. Borkar joined Goa's fight for freedom in the 1950s and moved to Pune, where he worked for the radio. Most of his literature is written in Marathi, though his Konkani output is also considerable. He excelled as a prose writer as well.Notable award: Padma Shri
Shridhar Phadke was born on 9 September 1950 in Mumbai.He is son of the famous Marathi singer and composerSudhir Phadke and singer Lalitabai Phadke. He completed his education from D. G. Ruparel College ofArts Science and Commerce[1] and later did his post graduation in Information Technology inUnited States of America in the decade of 1970. Later he joined Air India. He retired from Air Indiaas Executive Director-IT in the year 2009.
Vibhavari Apte Joshi is an Indian singer in Bollywood,and in Marathi and Tamil language films.She hails from Pune in Maharashtra state of India. She has sung inmany Marathi movies, Bollywood movies such as Guzaarish andmany other musical albums. Awards won by her includeVidya Pradnya Award from Maharashtra Government in 2013,Stardust New Musical Sensation Award in 2011andJio-Mirchi awardfor Best Female Vocalist in 2016.She is a post graduate in commerce.
