ऐसी मांग गोविंद ते।।

Beg for such blessings from the Lord of the Universe:

टहल सन्तन की संग साधू का
हर नामा जप परम गते।।

To serve the Saints and be in the company of the Saadh Sangat and the holy. Chanting the Name of the Lord, the supreme status is obtained. ।।1।।

पूजा चरना ठाकुर शरना।।

Worship the Feet of Your Lord and Master, and seek His Sanctuary.

सोई कुसल जे प्रभ जि ओ करना।।१॥

Take joy in whatever God does. ।।1।।

सफल होत यह दुर्लभ देही।।

This precious human body becomes fruitful,

जा को सतगुरु मया करेही।।२॥

When the True Guru shows His Kindness.।।2।।

अज्ञान भरम बिनसै दुख डेरा।।

The house of ignorance, doubt and pain is destroyed,

जा के हिरदय बसिहे गुरु पैरा।।३॥

For those within whose hearts the Guru's Feet abide. ।।3।।

साधसंग  रंग प्रभ ध्याया।।

In the Saadh Sangat, lovingly meditate on God.

कहो नानक तिन पूरा पाया।।४॥

Says Nanak, you shall obtain the Perfect Lord. ।।4।।
