कंडु धन्यनादॆ ई गुरुगळ   ।। प ।।

तुंगातटदि बंदु निंत
पंगु बधिराद्यंग हीनर
अंगगैसि सलहुवा – नर
सिंगनंघ्रि भजकरिवर      ।।१।।

गुरुवर सुगुणेंद्ररिंद
परिपरियलि सेवॆगॊळुत
वरमंत्रालयपुरदि मॆरॆव
परिमळाख्य ग्रंथकर्तर      ।।२।।

सो‍हं ऎन्नदॆ हरिय दा
सोहं ऎन्नलु ऒलिदु विजय
मोहन विठ्ठलन्न परम
स्नेहदिंद तोरुववर         ।।३।।

Meaning (Stanza by Stanza)

Pallavi (Refrain) :

Kandu dhanyanade gurugala kannaare naa kandu dhanyanade

I am deeply blessed and fulfilled to have seen you with my own eyes, my revered Guru.

Stanza 1 :

Tungaatathadi bandu ninta pangu badhiraadyanga heenara
Angagaisi salahuvaa - nara singananghri bhajkarivara

Standing on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, you bless and heal those who are physically challenged, blind, deaf, and helpless. You are the supreme protector for those who worship the lotus feet of Lord Narasimha. 

Stanza 2 :

Guruvara Sugunendrarinda paripariyali sevegolutha
Vara Mantralayapuradi mereva Parimalaakhya granthakarthara

Serving the esteemed Guru in various ways, you reside in the blessed town of Mantralaya. You are the author of the great scriptures known as Parimala. 

Stanza 3 :

Soham ennade hariya da soham ennalu olidu Vijaya
Mohana Vittalanna parama...

Although we do not realize our true divine nature, when we surrender and chant "Soham" (I am He/that divine soul), Lord Vijaya Mohana Vittala is pleased.
