॥ श्रीशारदाम्बागीतम् ॥

श्रीशारदाम्बां भजे श्रितकल्पवल्लीम् । कारुण्यवारांनिधिं कलिकल्मषघ्नीम् ॥ इन्द्रादिदेवार्च्यपादाम्बुजातां ईशित्वमुख्याष्टसिद्धिप्रदात्रीम् । ऊहापथातीतमाहात्म्ययुक्तां मोहान्धकारापहस्वाभिधानाम् ॥१ ॥ श्रीशङ्कराचार्यसंसेवितांघ्रिं श्रीश्रृङ्गगिर्याख्यपुर्यां वसन्तीम् ॥ श्रीवाग्विभूत्यादिदानप्रवीणां श्रीभारतीतीर्थहृत्पद्मवासाम् ॥ २ ॥ ॥ इति श्रीशारदाम्बागीतम् ॥
Translation :
I worship Goddess Sharadamba who is a Kalpavriksha
(wish - yielding tree) for those seeking refuge, an ocean of
mercy and destroyer of vices of Kaliyuga. I worship Goddess
Sharadamba at whose Lotus Feet celestials like Indra offer
worship, who bestows the main eight siddhis such as Eshitva,
who is endowed with inestimable greatness and whose name
removes the darkness of delusion (moha). I adore Goddess
Sharadamba, at whose Feet Acharya Shankara offered worship,
who dwells in the place named Sringeri, who is equipped to bless
(devotees) with wealth, eloquence and power
and who dwells in the Lotus Heart of Acharya Bharati Theertha.
