"श्री गुरुभ्यो नमः"
गुरु पूर्णिमा पर श्री वेङ्कट कवि रचित गुरु-स्तुति की
भरतनाट्यम प्रस्तुति विश्वश्री सुन्दरम द्वारा
Let's surrender to the holy feet of our great GURUS!
Guru Stuthi by Vishwashree Sundaram
Translation :
Without thy grace, Oh Sadhguru,
of what use is the knowledge of Vedas? Like the first drops of rain that tickle
the distraught crops stricken by drought,
Like the stalk that supports the slender
creeper that sways with the winds,
Like the nectar that can never be
over sweetening,
Like the purest prosperity that is
seldom palpable,
To have been bestowed with that
Supreme Grace,
What Punyam could I have done? What penance could I have done? Oothukadu Sri Venkata Kavi, who was in the surge of finding the Guru
who would quench his thirst, ultimately surrenders to Gopala, the
Lord of Oothukaadu. The Lord Himself becomes the devotee's penultimate
Guru, leading him unto the path of Supreme Wisdom. Rāgam: Reethigowlai Tālam: Misrachāpu Choreography & Nattuvangam - Dr. Sheela Unnikrishnan Vocal - Smt. Chitrambari Krishnakumar Mridangam - Sri Guru Bharadwaaj Veena - Kumari Harita Flute - Sri Devaraj
Dance - Vishwashree Sundaram
