This collaboration, depicts the different manifestations of goddess Devi.
As “Shankari” the consort of lord Shankara, as “Annai” the mother of
Ganesha and Muruga, and as “Malai Magal” the daughter of the hills.
At the heart of this classical piece is gender equality, portrayed
through the description of Ardhanari, the divine union of Lord Shiva and
Goddess Shakthi into one body, an embodiment of equality between man
and woman.
